Kristi Stogner, LCSW, President
Kristi has more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field of practice. She began her career as a therapist in an outpatient community mental health setting and moved to a position with acute psychiatric care with programming both on an inpatient and outpatient setting. She earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Kristi holds a professional license for social work in Mississippi and Louisiana. Kristi is trained to utilize Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Kristi’s work history includes extensive experience evaluating and treating clients across the all age populations. She also has experience working with in a school setting which often provides a unique perspective for an outpatient clinical therapist.
Kristi enjoys working with adults, adolescents, and children. Her work experience and clinical training also supports her work with couples and families. She specializes in working with those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief, childhood emotional neglect, self-harm, relationships, divorce issues, and communication issues. Kristi is passionate about the benefits of the therapeutic relationship and therapy with authenticity. She specializes in improving self-worth, helping couples and families resolve conflicts and develop powerful communication skills, effective parenting strategies, grief and loss, reducing anxiety and teaching coping skills. She believes in the fundamental premise everyone wants to feel loved, worthy, and valued.
