Margaret graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with her Master’s of Science in Nursing. She has over 20 years of experience as the Director of Nursing and Health Services at Otken Elementary School providing professional nursing care to students and staff. With a commitment to providing excellent healthcare, Margaret has provided temporary healthcare staffing for work stoppage job actions in the capacity of Circulating Nurse Practitioner since 2006. Margaret’s enthusiasm for excellence and leadership in her field has made her a member of the Johnson & Johnson/Rutgers University School Health Leadership Fellow which supports school nurses and their community partners to strive to improve student health practices in their community. Margaret has a passion for local service and excellence in her field.
